Whenever possible I work to use natural language sequences in screens.
I find it an effective way to make screens self-explanatory and input actions effortless.
An illustration of this idea at work in two sample request screens.
This is a concept for an application that proposes sample budgets. Here, the budget request screen, where the input forms are wrapped around declaration statements of the user. This means the user doesn't have to learn terminology or navigate a maze of labels.
Shopping for Shoes
A concept for a filter for a shopping site that incorporates the filter criteria selection and viewing directly into a request statement. I put size first because I think feedback on available shoe sizes is the most helpful thing to provide at the start of the shoe search process.
