Wireframes bring just the right amount of detail.
They are a great proving ground for flow and the fit of each user story. At this stage, visuals and details of how an interaction animates are still flexible.
Media Effectiveness App (iOS)
This is a layout and navigation scheme for an app that helps advertisers analyze the effectiveness of ad campaigns. I worked remotely with the primary developer. We held Skype sessions where he explained the functionality the product would have, and showed me some applications with layouts and interactions he liked. We did three rounds of iteration where I shared wireframes and storyboards that captured the functionality he planned to develop, and he shared feedback on what he liked and what wouldn't work because of functional conflict.
The last page is a screenshot of one of the final working versions.
FX Trading (Windows)
This is a concept for an FX Derivatives Exercize screen. FX Traders work under high intensity for short periods several times a day when they need to decide what to do with their FX options. In this concept, FX Traders can continually filter out the deals they want to focus on by requesting only deals with a certain Moneyness. Deals above and below this amount are automatically regrouped which means one-click processing for fast deal resolution.
